Service Learning Opportunities!

This is a list of opportunities that have been presented to our school for your consideration. Service Learning is not limited to these choices. You are welcome to volunteer for non-profits which includes churches, food banks, charity organizations as well as helping out people in your community in various ways. There are limitless opportunities because people have hardships in life and always need a helping hand, just look around, see where you can help, and if anything, it will show you that you matter and that you are capable of making a difference in the lives of others.

PLEASE LOOK ON THE WILDCAT WEEKLY FOR CURRENT EVER CHANGING COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES! The more permanent ones are posted below.

Look for additional Opportunities as the local elementary & middle schools reach out for assistance with their seasonal activities, etc.

Service Learning will help you when it comes time to create a resume, apply for a job, apply to a college as well as when applying for scholarships. It shows the prospective employer or college representative that you are more than just a student, but one that is committed to people & the community outside of your own immediate home. It indicates that you are able to function in a greater societal situation than a structured school setting and that you are willing to put yourself outside of your comfort zone to gain this experience and learn and grow from it. Those are the types of people that employers, organizations, colleges want to include and continue to develop.
